At First Hijrah Foundation, the role of the Imam is central to guiding and uplifting our community. Our Imam and Acting Imam are dedicated to providing spiritual leadership, fostering unity, and addressing the needs of our diverse congregation.

The Imam serves as a spiritual leader, mentor, and advisor, ensuring the religious and communal needs of our members are met. From leading prayers to offering counseling, the Imam plays a vital role in nurturing faith and fostering community growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Congregational Prayers: Regularly leading daily, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, and Eid prayers.
  • Delivering Khutbahs and Lectures: Sharing insightful and inspiring sermons that address contemporary issues with an Islamic perspective.
  • Providing Guidance: Offering counseling for individuals and families, addressing spiritual, personal, and social concerns.
  • Community Engagement: Actively participating in events and programs that promote unity and understanding.
